Located in a quiet area of Palma de Mallorca, on top of a hill, Blue Bay Hotel is 400 metres from Cala Mayor Beach and shopping area. Set in extensive gardens it offers outdoor pools.

Enjoyed the view

The view is beautiful. The pool area is nice. The bus station is nearby. The price was good. The staff was very nice.

If you want a room at a higher floor you have to pay extra (I didn't know that in advance). The bathroom at least needs to be refurbished and things that are broken to be replaced. The air-conditioning is very noisy.

quite far from the centre but it´s worth it if you wanna save a bit, cool staff and breakfast!!

I really liked breakfast, it´s worth it! The hotel is quite far from the centre but there are lots of bus stops near, one is like a few steps from it so you get anywhere on bus but in 30 min. So pay attention to it. The staff is really cool and friendly!

I´d ask the cleaners to put a bit more efforts. A small room for one person and still there was hair of previous guests(((

Staff and customer service was excellent. Front of house is really nice and modern.

After seeing front of house you would expect a little more from the rooms. Little outdated. But was nice hotel it was clean and for price you can't grumble at all.

Everyone was really helpful and friendly. Great view. Great breakfast. You know what you get for the budget price. Bus stop right in front of the hotel. That was perfect.

A great value for money hotel with excellent staff

I arrived quite late, and quite tired after walking a lot beforehand. Needed a friendly face on arrival, well after checking in, I felt really welcome there. They run a really efficient set-up and everyone working there was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was good.

1) You had to pay per day for a key to the security box. 2) There is only on plug in the main room, but two plugs in the bathroom, and one out in the hallway. Unless you have a power bank it makes charging devices complicated. 3) The tiny bath-shower. The bath is too small to be used as a bath, so it would make more sense to just have a shower. 4) not kettle or bar fridge

Pleasant room in great location.

Location was brilliant, close walking distance to beach and has tonnes of restaurants, bars, shops etc around. There was a lot to see and visit around the town on foot. Plus there are bus stops all around, easy to use and cheap so great to get even further around and do even more sightseeing which is what we came for. Hotel itself was great, good facilities, pleasant staff, room has all the basics. The sea view from our balcony was beautiful!

Breakfast wasn’t nice. Also.. not exactly the hotels fault but someone died outside (fell from balcony??) and his body was lay on the floor for a while without being covered, me and all the neighbouring rooms had to witness this unwillingly as he was in our view in front of our balconies. Hotel staff didn’t mention anything and left people to unexpectedly see. I would have expected to have our rooms called and be informed not to go out onto the balcony for the present time until the body had been covered and taken by the ambulance maybe?

Very happy, friendly helpful staff, technician & Hotel manager - thank you for my enjoyable stay

Breakfast availability time is friendly and never too full

The Bacon on any day I had breakfast was pretty hard and perhaps try a different type or provider. Likewise the beans were only luke warm. Coffee from one machine on the right was very good, the machine on the left did not make a nice coffee.

Staff very helpful and gave you as much help asspossible

Breakfast was excellent great choice of everything especially breads yogurt and fresh fruit and cooked food, the staff were very helpful especially replacing food when it was in low supply. The breakfast room was kept clean at all times no shortage of cutlery or glasses, the room was very roomy and bright. Staff helped in every way possible.
